Spending my savings Empty Spending my savings

Post by Guest Wed Nov 09, 2011 1:48 pm

I'm finally breaking down and spending at least part of my coupon savings stash.

This is the first THING that I bought and I freaking love it! It's so amazing. I never thought I would ever love (much less actually like) vacuuming but I do! My floors are so clean now and I can breathe so much easier. It does have some trouble picking up certain things and might take more than one pass, but I care more about the fact that it picks up all of mine, Avery's and the animal hair.

I'm also buying Eli a new convertible car seat and I'm looking for a large Tote purse. The rest is going to be used on buying me a new camera and Christmas.

I'm really excited, but I'm also having a hard time spending the money. I need this stuff now, but I keep wanting to hold onto it and wait for sales and I can't really.

Its always nice to have extra money (savings) to spend on things that are needed. Yay for the vacuume helping out. Goodluck finding the tote and convertible car seat for eli. Maddie loves her convertable car seat and hte only time I forsee her using her baby seat will be when we travel back to my parents house next fri (18th), so she is more comfortable and can sleep (hopefully the whole ride).

Hahahaha! Carmen, you sound like my mom! Seriously though, I've needed a vacuum. I've been using my little shop-vac. It's awesome and it got the job done, but it was a total PITA the whole dang time.

Oh wow! That sucks!!! We actually just realized they weren't paying Sean the right amount so we're getting $2200 back. Well, we are supposed to at least. No telling when or if we will actually see it.

Wait a minute....

I'm confused. Why did they stop his flight pay? He isn't at school yet. Doesn't he still keep the same AFSC until he actually leaves Barksdale and in-processes wherever he does that at? I thought he was still in a flying squadron anyways so why are they taking it out for the past year?

He has not been in a flying squadron for over a year, he is the communications flight commander right now threw the operations support squadron ... and thats what I thought too but turns out if your denif over a year you lose the pay... Or so thats what we are being told...

That sucks. Thanks for the explanation though. I was curious because there was a guy that went permenantly DNIF, but he kept his flight pay so I was confused. I guess maybe it was a combo of everything.
